ARE YOU A BELIEVER OR UNBELIEVER?

On a planned trip to Sweden some years ago, we gathered letters containing the personal testimonies of believers in Christ from four Churches in America and made copies for distribution to the people of Sweden. In addition, we took alone a number of tracts in the Swedish language. As these copies of letters and tracts were distributed in airports, trains, buses and to people on the streets, we began seeking the faithful Churches of God to help distribute this material. We were fortunate to find one Church of Spirit filled believers but it quickly became apparent that almost all of these magnificent and beautiful churches were nearly empty of occupants on the Lord’s Day. What has happen, we thought. Where are the believers?

After a Sunday service at one of these churches near Lindesberg, Sweden we asked the Pastor why there were so few people in attendance. He responded that the economic situation had improved a great deal in Sweden, and as a result they no longer felt that they needed church. When he was asked, “But what about Hell, aren’t people concerned about ending up in Hell”, he responded that, “Hell is not a place of fire or torment, but is merely an absence from the presence of God”.

Although this incident happened a number of years ago, we now see this same pattern of unbelief in American Churches where the believers have departed and the unbelief prevails, that Hell is not a horrible place of fire and brimstone. Upon further study it became apparent that Bibles were changed in both Sweden and America, Bibles that cast doubt and unbelief in God’s True Word, and unbelief in Hell as such a horrible place. Newer teachings supported by these new Bibles teach unbelief, with different names for Hell, a greatly diminished consequence for the Lost and no real urgency to reach out for lost souls in danger of great torment.

Along with the introduction of the New International Bible Version (NIV) and other modern, corrupted versions, many liberal seminaries now teach would-be teachers and pastors using a false foundation of Greek, tainted by thousands of deceptive corruptions, not to believe that Hell is a place of such great consequence, a destructive unbelief. These corrupt scriptures encourage man to walk in the flesh, contrary to the Spirit.

These new teachers and pastors from liberal seminaries, having believed they are born again simply because they believe in Jesus, are taking over responsibilities thereby causing the churches to lose True followers of Christ when it becomes obvious that these new teachers do not really believe God’s Holy Bible, nor do they practice it; and furthermore they cast doubt by changing portions of the Holy Bible that they or the new corrupt Greek does not agree with.

As they teach about God‘s Word they acknowledge that they don’t believe all scripture is the Word of God. Since they do not believe in an infallible, inerrant Bible, they are in reality unbelievers pretending otherwise. They are lost and their hearts have been hardened by false teachers just as the heart of Pharaoh of Egypt in the days of Moses. They will not believe the Truth of God’s Holy Bible.

What is the root problem of these weakened churches? It is unbelief, unbelief in a Holy Righteous God, unbelief that Jesus can sanctify a soul from all unrighteousness, unbelief in a literal Hell with consequences of eternal torment, unbelief in God’s Holy Bible as all inspired by God, unbelief in the fact that God wrote all of the words of the Bible, unbelief in the fact that the Word of God is without error and unbelief that the Holy Bible, the KJV, is in fact the Word of God. The Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 is now taught just to be a passion of some people.

How can a Church grow with all of this unbelief; it can not. God builds Churches. A gathering that is no longer a Church is a business, and if a business is successful, it must be run as such. The church buildings of Sweden are supported by the government because its visitors are too few in number. I am reminded of a nearby church here in the states that has been sold as a business and now it is used as a night club serving alcoholic beverages, just another place of gathering.

God will do the separating, the believers from the unbelievers. Are you a true believer of God’s Word? If not, you are an unbeliever. The word “unbelief” was used fourteen times in the message above to emphasize the danger of not believing God’s Word, the Holy Bible, yes even the Truth of the KJV, the source of which the children of faith have believed for two thousand years, yet the elevated, the proud and the self proclaimed analytical scholars will not believe.

What does the Holy Bible, God’s Word, say about unbelievers?

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Rev. 21:8 KJV

What is God’s Will for unbelievers?

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 KJV

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:6-7 KJV
